Sandery moves on

Mitch Sandery has advised the South Adelaide Football Club that due to the increasing demands of his work he won’t be able to continue this season.

Mitch returned to the Panthers prior to Round 1 with the hope of balancing his work as a contract painter and football commitments. However, the increased workload, combined with the travel from his home at Fairview Park to Noarlunga, made it extremely difficult to meet the demands of being an SANFL footballer.

Mitch played 6 League games in 2012, bringing his South Adelaide total to 64 games and career total to 92. He was also the winner of the 2009 Knuckey Cup after joining the Panthers from Norwood in 2008.

The South Adelaide Football Club thanks Mitch for his contribution and wishes him all the best for the future.

South Adelaide also advises that Nick Liddle and Toby Stribling have extended their contracts with the Panthers to 2013.
