South Adelaide Welcome former Redleg Morgan Johnston

The South Adelaide Football Club is pleased to welcome Morgan Johnston for the 2024 Hostplus SANFLW Season.

Johnston has spent three seasons at the Parade where she has totalled 38 games for the Redlegs.

In 2023, Johnston had her best season to date, averaging 13 disposals and finishing 3rd in Norwood's Best and Fairest.

When talking about why Johnston made the move to Noarlunga, a key factor was the Panthers style of play.

"I chose to come and play at South Adelaide as they play an exciting brand of footy and have an amazing culture which I really think suits me." Said Morgan Johnston

"I’m just focusing on coming in and playing my best footy for the club. Excited to keep learning and to better myself and others around me."

When asked about what Johnston is looking forward to the most this year, a big focus was her continuous development as a player.

"Growth. Keen to learn and play some really exciting footy!" ~ Morgan Johnston

Senior Coach Rick Watts was pleased with the addition to the Panthers Side.

"We're really happy to welcome Morgan to our Club" Said Senior Coach Rick Watts

"Morgan possesses elite skills and decision making which are two improvement areas of our program, so we are extremely excited to add her to the group”

"More importantly, Morgan is aligned with our culture and values and is ready to take the next step"
