The South Adelaide Football Club has one of the richest histories in Australian football, with its origins dating back to 1876. Over the years, the Club has welcomed, entertained, appreciated and celebrated with generations of supporters.
From the Panthers’ first Magarey Medallist, Frank “Dinky” Barry in 1915, and the inaugural Knuckey Cup winner, Dan Moriarty in 1923, to Club legends Jimmy Deane, Peter Darley and Mark Naley, and modern day stars such as five time Knuckey Cup winner Nick Liddle and dual Magarey Medallist Joel Cross, each generation has had the opportunity to watch and support some of the country’s finest footballers.
A bequest provides a simple yet powerful way for past, present and future supporters of the South Adelaide Football Club to make a meaningful contribution to the Club’s future. It helps ensure that future generations can enjoy a lifetime of supporting this great Club and have the chance to develop heroes of their own.
A bequest is a gift of money or assets left through your Will. Making a bequest is a straight forward and affordable process. You may update your Will in consultation with your family and solicitor, or add a codicil to an existing Will.
After ensuring that your family, friends and loved ones are provided for, you may choose to include a bequest to the South Adelaide Football Club in one of the following ways:
A percentage of the total value of your estate
The residue of your estate after providing for your other beneficiaries
A specified sum of money. Please note that a specified sum does not increase in value over time
The proceeds from the sale of particular assets such as a life insurance policy, securities or shares
