2020 South Adelaide Fixtures
The 2020 SANFL Statewide Super League and Women's League fixture has been locked in.
The blockbuster 2020 fixture which is headlined by Good Friday Football returning to Flinders University Stadium in 2020 as the Panthers host the reigning Premiers.
Other key highlights include hosting Central Districts on ANZAC Day, Norwood on the Queens birthday long weekend, and a road trip to Kadina to face the Eagles as part of the Country Championships.
However, in what will be a first, the Panthers will have an opportunity to play the Crows prior to the AFL Crows and St. Kilda match on July 4 at Adelaide Oval.
South Adelaide CEO Neill Sharpe welcomed the release of the 2020 season fixture.
"The 2020 draw provides a number of exciting and new opportunities for South Adelaide. It's great to have Good Friday again against Glenelg in Round 2. Recent encounters against the Bays have been hard fought heart stopping affairs and this should be no different."
"It's fantastic to be playing a minor round game at Adelaide Oval against the Crows as a curtain raiser to an AFL game. The following week we travel to Kadina during the Country Championships to play the Eagles, which adds plenty of variety to our draw."
The Panthers will play an increased amount of Saturday football at Flinders University Stadium in 2020 with six Saturday games scheduled and one Sunday.
While the finer details are being worked out with the SANFL and Adelaide Football Club, the following South Adelaide Memberships will be provided entry to Adelaide Oval as per a regular home game at Flinders University Stadium.

This will provide South Adelaide members the perfect opportunity to upgrade to a home or season membership which will also include the opportunity to watch the Crows vs St.Kilda match on July 4.
The 2020 SANFLW fixture will also provide Panther members and supporters the chance to watch the women with six matches at Flinders University Stadium.
Round 1 will begin on February 14 against the Eagles where the club will unfurl the 2019 SANFLW premiership pennant.
However, all eyes will be on the Round 4 match where the Panthers will host the Roosters in the Grand Final Rematch.
The Roosters trip to Flinders University Stadium will also have some added hype as it will mark the return of 2018 South Adelaide Premiership Coach Krissie Steen to Noarlunga.
The Panthers will face Glenelg, West Adelaide and Central District twice in the 10-round home and away season.
Round 8 will also see the Panthers first trip to Alberton Oval as part of a double header after the Port Adelaide vs South Adelaide men's match.
