BETTA Teams Selection: SANFLW Round 6 v Eagles

17 March 2022

The Panthers welcome back AFLW experience for Nicole Campbell's 50th.

Heading into the bye with momentum, the Panthers look to square the win/loss ledger against the Eagles this week.

Dual Premiership player Lisa Whiteley returns to the Panthers for the first time this year.

Caitlin Ross is also poised to make her first start in 2022.

Sarah WrightCaitlin Couch, Courtney Barry and Tiffany Copley all come into the extended squad.

Brylee Kerrin (Pinktails) will make her League debut after an impressive performance in the Development side a fortnight ago.

2021 Best and Fairest Nicole Campbell will become the second Panther to play 50 SANFLW games.

Coming over from soccer in 2018, Campbell played her first season of SANFLW with the Redlegs, including the 2018 Grand Final which would be against future club.

Moving closer to home in 2019, Campbell soon tasted success being part of the Panthers 2019 Permiership side, and earning selection in The Advertiser SANFLW Team of the Year on the Half Forward Flank.

Campbell would earn her AFLW opportunity with the Crows, making her debut in round 1 2020 vs Brisbane.

Returning to the Panthers full time in 2021, Campbell had her best season to date which saw her take out the SAFCW Best and Fairest.

Perhaps the cool and calm left footers defining moment was her kick on the siren to win the game for the Panthers against the Roosters in round 4 2019.

Meanwhile for the Development Team, they look to remain on the winners list and will be bolstered with the inclusion experience.

Tamara Page and Alannah Rochow come into the side along with Cleo Guilfoyle, Caitlin Radbone and Maddy Rasmussen.

The feast of Panthers footy kicks off with the Men's Reserves Trial at 10:30am, followed by the League Trail at 1:10pm, Senior Women at 4:00pm and Development League at 6:00pm.

If you can make the game, all SANFLW and Development League matches will be streamed via SANFL Now, a new streaming service for all things SANFL.
