Hudson has held an assistant role under Sampson since 2017, where he was in charge of the backline before moving to the midfield for the last two seasons.
In 2018 and 2019 Hudson has also held an assistant role for the State Under-16 team. This year he was the head coach for the South Adelaide Under-15 Country Development Squad.
