Harrison Gunther joins the Panthers

28 October 2021

The Panthers sign Harrison Gunther.

Tasmanian utility Harrison Gunther will swap Glenorchy for Noarlunga having signed with the Panthers.

The 22-year old has also spent time in Melbourne playing two games for the Western Jets and four games for North Melbourne's VFL side.

In 2021, Gunther returned to his home club Glenorchy Districts where he has played 66 games in the Tasmanian State League.

Averaging just under 17 disposals to go with his eight marks a game in 2021, Gunther is strong overhead and will provide the Panthers plenty of options with his versatility.

Senior Coach Jarrad Wright is confident that Gunther will complement the side at both ends of the ground.

"Harrison was very influential at both ends for Glenorchy Districts and we believe he will offer us great flexibility at either end of the ground" said Senior Coach Jarrad Wright.

"He is strong in aerial contests, agile for a 190cm player and is composed with the ball."
