Sam Ramsay heads to Noarlunga

12 November 2021

South Adelaide Welcome Sam Ramsay for the 2022 SANFL Season.

The silky left footer makes his way to the Panthers from Carlton.

Ramsay played 8 games for Carlton's VFL side in the COVID effected 2021 season.

Averaging 20 disposals, the 20-year old is a classy ball user who has good pace.

Ramsay took out the Calder Cannons best-and-fairest before being taken by the Blues with pick 47 of the 2019 National Draft.

Senior Coach Jarrad Wright is confident that Ramsay will be able to continue his development and make an impact in the midfield.

"Really exciting to get Sam into our program, we know there is a lot of growth in his game due to a lack of opportunity in COVID affected seasons." Said Senior Coach Jarrad Wright.

"Sam's speed, evasiveness and kicking ability are his weapons and we're excited  for what he brings to our midfield connection."
