Taylah Eastwood to Lead the Panthers Under-18 Girls

The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Taylah Eastwood as the inaugural Head Coach of the Under 18 Girls team for the 2026 season.

Eastwood’s connection to the Panthers runs deep. She was part of the club’s inaugural SANFLW squad in 2018, making her debut against West Adelaide in Round 7. Since then, she has built an impressive coaching background across both junior and senior levels.

Her coaching journey began in 2017 as an Assistant Coach with the Christies Beach Under-18 Girls, before taking on the Head Coach role at Mount Compass in 2022. That same year she served as a line coach for the Panthers Development League side and led the Panthers Under-15 Girls Development Squad, a position she held until 2024. Over the past two seasons, she has guided the Panthers Under-17 Girls, continuing her growth as one of the club’s most respected young coaches.

Since 2023, Eastwood has also been the SANFLW Midline Coach, a role she will continue alongside her new position in 2026.

When asked about the opportunity, Eastwood said she was honoured and excited to take on the challenge.

“It is a real privilege to step into this role with a club that means so much to me.” Eastwood said.

“I have seen the growth of female football at South Adelaide and I cannot wait to help our young players continue to develop both on and off the field.”

Female Football Manager Jonathon Parker said the club was delighted to see Eastwood appointed to lead the Under-18 program.

“We are really excited with the appointment of Easto and look forward to seeing her continue to develop as a coach,” Parker said.

“There were several strong applicants for the role, but Taylah’s calm nature, understanding of the club and genuine care for her players helped her stand out.”

With the transition from the Development League to the Under-18 Girls program, Parker also recognised Ryan Skouborg for his exceptional leadership and contributions as Head Coach of the Development League.

“Ryan has done an incredible job since 2023, guiding the side to back to back premierships in 2023 and 2024, and another Grand Final appearance in 2025.” he said.

“We thank him for his leadership and commitment to developing our young footballers.”

Eastwood will be supported in 2026 by Ryan Skouborg, Wayne Williams and former club captain Lauren Murray (Buchanan) as line coaches.
