Welcome Home Holly Ifould
South Adelaide Welcomes Home Holly Ifould
The South Adelaide Football Club is delighted to announce the return of Holly Ifould for the 2026 Hostplus SANFLW season.
Ifould was drafted from the Panthers by Fremantle with pick 49 in the 2023 preseason draft.
She made her AFLW debut in Round 4 of the 2025 season against the Swans and played five AFLW games across her two seasons with the Dockers.
When asked about her return to the Panthers, Ifould said she is really keen to get back into it and is looking forward to the 2026 season.
"I'm feeling super privileged to return back to South, a club that has supported me through all my football endeavours." said Ifould.
"South ultimately feels like home, and coming back to play alongside some of my best friends, and to also be coached by Rick is incredibly exciting."
"The intent and culture within this group of such talented girls and coaches is so inspiring. Super keen to absolutely crack in and play amongst this incredible team of people."
An outside midfielder and winger, Ifould’s speed, endurance and work rate make her a dangerous threat on the outside.
The 20 year old has a strong ability to cover ground, impressive aerial ability and uses her skills to hit targets with precision.
South Adelaide Female Football Manager Jonathon Parker is excited to have another Panther return to the club.
"We’re really excited to have Holly return to the club. She’s slotted back in seamlessly amongst the playing group," said Parker.
"With her two years in an AFLW system, Holly has really improved her craft. With Lily Baxter earning her AFLW opportunity, having Holly return will provide us with more flexibility on the wings and through the middle of the ground."
The South Adelaide Football Club welcomes Holly back to the club, along with her family and friends.
