Welcome Chelsea Farr

8 January 2024

South Adelaide Welcome former Rooster Chelsea Farr.

The South Adelaide Football Club is pleased to welcome Chelsea Farr for the 2024 Hostplus SANFLW Season.

Farr played 32 games in the red and white over the last three seasons.

Taking out the 2023 Margaret Varcoe Best Team Player for the Roosters, Farr had her best season to date averaging 12 disposals, 7 Tackles and 7 Contested Possessions.

When talking about making the switch to the Panthers, Farr said the Panthers style of play was key factor.

"I love the style of footy that South play and change is good to grow and develop as a player which is what I’m hoping to do."  Said Chelsea Farr

When asked about what Farr is looking forward to the most this year, development as a player was top of the list.

"I’m looking to improve wherever I can, become more attacking and play a new brand of footy." ~ Chelsea Farr

"I'm also looking forward to hopefully being able to run out in new colours with one of my best mates Soriah [Moon]!"

Senior Coach Rick Watts was pleased with the addition to the Panthers Side.

"We're really please to welcome Chelsea to our Club" Said Senior Coach Rick Watts

"We've tried for a few years to get Chelsea to Flinders University Stadium because of her strength and tenacity around the contest, which is something we are looking to build upon."

"Chelsea like everyone in our program is clearly aligned with what we want to achieve as a collective."
