Welcome Harley Sparks
South Adelaide Welcomes Harley Sparks to Noarlunga for 2026
The South Adelaide Football Club is thrilled to welcome Harley Sparks to Magain Stadium for the 2026 Hostplus SANFL League Season.
A talented rebounding defender, Sparks has notched up 50 WAFL games since 2021, including 22 with East Perth and 28 for the West Coast Eagles WAFL side.
At just 24 years of age, he capped off an impressive 2024 campaign by claiming the Eagles’ Best and Fairest Award, averaging 22 disposals per game across the season.
Sparks said he’s eager to bring his strengths to Noarlunga in 2026.
“I’d say my strengths are around the contest and decision-making. I back myself to win the footy, use it well, and work hard both ways. I also try to bring leadership and set a good standard for the group.” Sparks said.
"I’m really pumped to be joining South Adelaide for the 2026 season. It’s an awesome opportunity to be part of a driven, competitive group that’s heading in the right direction. I’m keen to test myself against quality opposition and continue developing my game. The club’s culture, community feel, and family values really stood out to me, and I can’t wait to get over there, meet everyone, and get stuck into it."
Senior Coach Jarrad Wright said the club was thrilled to have Sparks on board.
“Harley will bring a competitive edge to our team. He values contest and winning 1 v 1s whilst bringing good energy with his run,” said Wright.
"We are excited for Harley to join the Panthers and settle into the broader South Adelaide community."
