South Adelaide Welcomes Phillip Moimoi

The South Adelaide Football Club is excited to welcome another new face to Magain Stadium for 2026 in Phillip Moimoi.

Moimoi played 11 VFL games for the Swans and 2 games for Richmond over the past two seasons, averaging just over a goal a game.

The 25 year old is known for his speed and competitiveness and will again add some additional x factor to the Panthers, who are shaping up nicely for 2026.

Moimoi also has a strong relationship with existing players, including Emmanuel Ajang, which will help him settle in well.

When talking about why he made the choice to head to Noarlunga in 2026, Moimoi said he is excited about the direction this group is heading in.

"Really grateful to be joining South Adelaide 2026 season." Said Moimoi

"I just felt the direction the club is heading, especially with such a talented young group, was something I really wanted to be involved in. Boys are locked in especially it being the club's 150th. I'm grateful to be part of it"

Senior Coach Jarrad Wright has praised Moimoi and is excited to see what he will add in 2026.

"His speed and competitiveness stand out, and he gives us great flexibility whether he’s playing behind the ball or providing a spark up forward."

"He brought terrific energy during his week training with the group and fitted in seamlessly. Phillip will be a strong addition to our program.”

The South Adelaide Football Club welcomes Phillip and his family and friends to the club and looks forward to a big 2026.
