With footy getting closer to kicking off properly, the Panthers are set to take on the Roosters in their first competitive hitout for the 2026 season.

Saturday afternoon will be a great chance for fans and supporters to head down to Magain Stadium and get their first look at several new Panthers.

Seamus Mitchell, Arie Schoenmaker, Jake Gasper and Harley Sparks will all feature, while returning Panther juniors Will Verrall, Jack Delean and Arlo Draper will also be in action. 

The Panthers will run a squad of 27 players in a full game trial against the Roosters. The Reserves will kick things off at the usual time of 11:30 am, followed by the League side at 2:10 pm.

The Panther Bar will be open throughout the day for light snacks and refreshments. Jimmy Deane's Bar and Bistro will also be open for lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

It shapes as a great afternoon at Magain Stadium and a perfect chance for supporters to get behind the Panthers as preparations for the 2026 season continue.
