BETTA Team Selection: Round 10 SANFLW v Central District
Following a disappointing performance against the Double Blues last week, the Panthers will be looking to bounce back against Centrals as they aim to stay in touch with the top three.
The Panthers have made five changes for the clash and will welcome back Emma Charlton, Layla Vizgaudis and Marley Tape from state duties.
They will be joined in the extended squad by Nikki Nield,Emily Brockhurst and Seraphina Moon.
Rounding out the inclusions, Zali Trenorden from Cove and Tiana Lush from Flagstaff Hill have both been named in the extended squad and could be in line to make their League debuts against Centrals.
There will also be two major milestones for the Panthers, with Jordann Rugless and Charlotte Dolan both set to play their 50th Hostplus SANFL League match.
Rugless made her League debut for the Panthers in Round 9, 2021, after coming through the Pinktails program and following her time with Gold Coast. She moved to the Eagles in 2022, where she played 11 games, before returning to Magain Stadium in 2023. Rugless was named vice captain in 2024 and captain in 2025, and was also part of the Panthers’ 2024 premiership side.
Dolan made her League debut for the Eagles in Round 4, 2020, before joining the Panthers in 2023 alongside former Eagles teammate Rugless. Dolan has since been part of the Panthers’ 2024 and 2025 premiership teams.
The match will get underway at 2:50pm, following the Eagles and North clash earlier in the day as part of the SANFL’s SAPN Energised Round.
