South host Eagles for Macca's Family Round

The Panthers return to the familiar surrounds of Hickinbotham Oval this weekend after their stunning victory over ladder leaders North Adelaide in Round 7.

However, there will be no time for South to rest on their laurels with this weekend's opponent, Woodville-West Torrens heading to Noarlunga on the back of a shock loss to Norwood at home.

Jarrad Wright and his selection committee have confirmed at least one change in their squad of 23.

Key forward Ben Haren has been named at full forward after a three goal haul in the Reserves win over the Roosters at Prospect.

He replaces high-flying youngster Nathan Kreuger, who has been sidelined with a shoulder injury. The Victor Harbor product is the only omission at this stage.

Big bodied mid/defender Jesse McKinnon and goal sneak Connor Fairlie have also been added to the extended bench after strong showings in the Reserves the past fortnight.

In the twos, Under-18s Tate Coleman and Jake Tarca will get their first taste of senior football, while fellow junior Jonty Manuel has also held his spot.

Physical forward Lee Hoey returns, as does youngster Bodie Sowter.

Robert Badger (hamstring) and Nathan Beenham (knee) will see some time on the sidelines after suffering injuries against the Roosters.
