South Adelaide's Under-18s have extended their unbeaten streak to nine games thanks to a 12.13 (85) to 8.9 (57) win over Woodville-West Torrens at Hickinbotham Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Our U18s head into the midseason bye after a solid win against the Eagles at home on Sunday.

Coming off a season high performance against Glenelg the week before, the players were able to repeat their good form and come away with their eighth win of the year.

Four changes were made from the week before, with Hayden Sampson, Henry Bruce and Liam Fitt all called up to play Reserves and Nic Robertson unavailable.

Back into the team came Nathan Beenham, Sam Whitbread and Eamon Wilkinson - all returning from injury. We also introduced a first game player in Zac Evreniadis from Happy Valley Football Club.

Apart from the second quarter when the Eagles took control of the contests and worker harder than us to outnumber, our players competed well in all facets of the game to control field position.

It was another very even contribution by all players, in particular our midfield who gave our forwards plenty of opportunity to score and worked back hard to help the back six.

We will review our game as we also do on Tuesday night to identify some improvement areas and also highlight our team KPI's.

After that we are all heading off to Ten Pin Bowling for some fun! The players have had a fantastic start to the season and deserve a break in the bye before we come back together to tackle Norwood at the Parade on Saturday, 24 June, which is always a tough challenge.
