The Panthers look to continue their tradition of playing football on Good Friday with a blockbuster against the Eagles. 

In a relatively settled line up, the Panthers will only have one forced change which is Kobe Mutch, who will miss the match up against his old side after suffering a concussion in the round 1 win over the Dogs.

Leader Ben Heaslip returns to the side after he was rubbed out for round 1, after copping a 1-match ban from Trial Match 3. 

Issac Birt and Kim Kantilla come into the extended squad that will be trimmed to 22 before the bounce on Friday afternoon. 

Also coming into the extended squad is former Panther Junior and 2021 Mark Naley Medallist, Luke Mitton (McLaren Districts) who is a chance to make his League Debut. 

Meanwhile, 2020 Knuckey Cup Winner Matthew Broadbent will line up for his 100th Hostplus SANFL League match, fittingly against his junior club in Woodville West-Torrens. 

Broadbent caught up with the SANFL's Zac Milbank during the week to chat about his journey to 100 League matches.  

Broadbent made his League Debut in 2008 for the Eagles before going on to play 171 AFL matches with Port Adelaide. 

After retiring from AFL, Broadbent headed to Noarlunga where he would win the Knuckey Cup in 2020, and the Fos Williams Medal in 2021 for his best on ground performance in the state game against WA. 

Another former AFL Giant in Zac Sporule is looking to keep up his momentum after booting three goals in his SANFL Debut last week. 

Sproule caught up with Channel 7's John Casey ahead of Friday's Channel 7 Match of the Week.

Meanwhile the Reserves who are currently sitting top will look to continue to build on their good start last week. 

The boys get started from 11:30am on Friday Morning followed by League at the traditional time of 2:10pm.
